The Global Encryption Coalition is collecting and sharing stories about the importance of end-to-end encryption as part of the Global Encryption Day. They (we; Interpeer is part of it) want to hear from you about the most consequential, unique or underreported instances that make the case for why encryption is critical.

If you wish to contribute to this, please use this survey form to submit your story, both public and anonymous.

#Boosts #BoostsAppreciated

Queen Elizabeth achieved a remarkable thing in convincing the world that the monarchy's raw power and wealth is actually a duty and a burden.

Sanctuary of Xeeus

Xeeus is no ordinary oracle, but a kopru who has been slowly creating prophecies through long-term domination of those who seek it out... And eating those it finds unsuitable.

Better still, provide government issue augmented reality goggles that do this automatically. You can then OTR update additional reality fixes.

Proposal: use deep fake algorithms to replace any impersonation of the Queen in films to retroactively adjust them to the current monarch.

If they reanimate dead actors, this should be a no-brainer.

Dear lovers of transparency, we have great news for you.

Just now, two repositories have been published:

- codeberg.org/Codeberg-Infrastr (our slow-long-term effort to release configs to the public, WIP, and every typing hand welcome!)
- codeberg.org/Codeberg-Infrastr (some open data attempt, still looking for licence recommendations!)

It's a nice thing when writing specs when the act of writing reveals that you should rethink some bits. It's not so nice when that blows up the specs. But, well, it's all for a good cause, innit?

is shipping strongswan with swanctl in 2022 too much to ask?

K1 is in school, K2 in kindergarten, wife off to work. I'm walking home. Post holiday normality is resumed.

FYI, I moved the #Interpeer account from fosstodon over to here. There is no particular issue I'm addressing here, it just seems like a slightly better fit overall.

Most of the other pictures include my kids, so I won't post those, which leaves very little to show.

But you know, travel is for the memories, not to make other people jealous, so I'll just leave it at that. Hah.

Well, we arrived back home. Yep, took a quick break.

My wife must've picked the second most German part of Italy to go to, but I forgive her. We had an awesome tour of Venice *for kids*, because, well, we went with the kids of course. It was a lot of fun, the guide turned it into a scavenger hunt, and we got to check off just enough of the town's sights to feel we've been and seen it a bit.

Of course I dug out my ancient TVP t-shirt to get a photograph of myself with it in Venice, but there...

On this day, september 11, 1973, the democratically elected socialist president of Chile, Salvador Allende, was murdered in a military coup. A US-backed fascist government took power until 1990, murdering, imprisoning, torturing and driving into exile hundreds of thousands of people. Do not let this atrocity be forgotten

For US folks, there's currently a proposed Title IX change that would protect trans people.

It's only open to public comments for *two more days* and the vast majority of current comments are looking really TERF-y. Please consider adding a comment to the proposal to help out :heart_trans:
